In order to carry forward the national culture and improve the ability of students to read the classics of Chinese studies, in combination with school-based characteristics, the Grade Three group of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary School Division held the ‘Disciple Rules’ writing competition on April 17th.
To start with, ‘Disciple Rules’ is a characteristic school-based curriculum of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary School Division, with which students have been familiar since they were in the lower grades. Therefore, students began to write carefully as soon as they got the writing paper.
After the competition, all the Chinese teachers of the third grade group meticulously reviewed the students' works, after which the judges selected one piece of excellent work from each class and awarded a certificate.
On the whole, this activity has greatly improved students' interest in reading the classics of Sinology and improved their Sinology quality. In the meantime, it’s hoped that students can continue to learn and inherit the traditional Chinese culture and virtues, pay attention to the cultivation of civilized etiquette and habits, and have good moral character in the future.
